The day I met the Michael family, I just fell in love with their family! They were quirky, funny, genuine and the smiles would hardly leave their faces during the entire session! Simply asking for a serious expression would create a burst of giggles!  It was so refreshing to see the joy that oozed from their family! We first created beautiful portraits for their family as they were awaiting the arrival of their sweet little boy, Bradley.

I was so thrilled when Samantha emailed me, asking if I would be willing to take some newborn photos for little Bradley just a week after he arrived. I had just gone through the loss of our precious Josiah, so this was such a bittersweet session. It was so sweet to watch the family love on their new arrival, and a type of healing to capture those sweet little fingers and toes. I can’t even tell you how much photos mean to me after such a loss and the drive to capture each little, beautiful moment is strong. These days fly by so quickly that sometimes we take them for granted. Not this family though! We captured some priceless moments for them to savor for a long while!

Samantha is simply the sweetest, most hilarious and real mama to ever walk this earth! I’m so grateful to have created a friendship with her and that I have had the honor of capturing their beautiful family. ( I hope Cory knows how lucky he is! 😉 ) He isn’t so bad either!  Watching this daddy love on his baby boy was enough to bring any mama to tears! Little Bradley will probably be a tad spoiled if his sisters have anything to say about it! 😉

Their adorable puppies had to join in the fun, so they jumped into a few portraits as well! I just love how sweet they are with little baby Bradley!

This hilarious family was my first session of 2018, and it was everything that I want 2018 to be! JOYFUL! Thank you, Michael family for such a fun, beautiful session! I am so thrilled to help capture these memories!
